minecraft.net is down until saturday
While enjoying my vacation, my credit card apparently ran out of money, so my host shut down the server. I won’t get back until saturday, so I’ll pay it then.
Good thing I found this free wifi at mcdonalds, and read the email in time, as they threatened to delete everything on the server if I didn’t reply within 24 hours, and it’d be a major pain to rebuild the user database from the three week old backup I’ve got since there’s been a lot of sales in that time.
If you check irc or the wiki, you can find some unsupported methods of playing in the meanwhile, but I don’t officially condone it.
