Progress update on Creative Mode merge
Single player creative mode works now. If you load a level saved in survival mode, all mobs and items vanish.
There’s a really weird fps bug somewhere in the code.. With survival mode without any entities, I get about 200 fps. With creative mode (which is the same, but no health and no arrows, and a different inventory), I get 500. I’m having a hard time tracking it down, and as usual profilers are no help at all since they make the game run so slow other things eat up the overhead.
Anyway, still left to do is to turn on multiplayer, log in to a server, and see what happens, then fix any bugs. After that, fix the server, then release both.
But I will do that tomorrow. Now I need to go sleep. :-)
